Wednesday's Flower

Wednesday's Story

A bud, the inception…

Is the beginning of a dream, a vision, and you never really quite know how it’s going to unfurl. As it does, it may be difficult to see those many layers and struggles to be as lovely as each petal of a flower. I believe as challenging as it may be while any endeavor evolves, that the beauty of anything that is worthwhile and that has meaning will radiate, just as a stunning flower in full bloom. May you look beyond the bud, your dream, and envision this flower in full bloom: your wildest dream fulfilled.

points of interest

A wonderful burst of color in the autumn season. It is a very hardy plant, provides large densely packed ‘bouquets’ of flowers. They are very easy to grow.

general care

Grow in full sun. No dead heading necessary, and water freely in dry conditions. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. For wintering, the plant needs to be planted in the ground early in its growth in order to establish a strong root system to survive the winter months.
