Wednesday's Flower

Wednesday's Story
PA-BAM!…
After playing with a black background the past two weeks and getting very close to a black and white image last week, I thought it was time for a burst of color to hit your screen today. This proves once again that every flower is unique, and this one is colorful and vibrant with sensational curly petals to boot. PA-BAM!
points of interest
Pon pon ranunculus is a marvel in breeding, having large, stunning blooms with uniquely ruffled petals on sturdy stems. Trilly has papery green and yellow petals tinged with orange. Blooms late spring to early summer from neat mounds with parsley-like foliage. Popular cut flower, especially for weddings.
general care
Grow in excellently draining soil in full sun, supplying medium moisture. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional blooms. After corms become dormant, dig, cut off tops, dry and store, covered, in a dry medium like peat moss, in a cool location.
