points of interest
This bright yellow, mildly fragrant rose has long lasting flowers borne in clusters. Buds are spiraled and become ruffled as they open. Stems are prickly and foliage is shiny, dark green.
general care
Plant in well-drained, humus enriched soil in full sun. Water thoroughly, but do not allow “wet feet.” Fertilize monthly during summer. Cut back to 12” and mulch heavily for winter protection. Once established, prune to maintain shape and increase branching. ‘Sparkle & Shine’ has strong disease resistance.
