Wednesday's Flower

Wednesday's Story
What I see…
Dreamy and romantic.
Soft and luxurious.
Petal after petal.
A little elusive.
Almost ambiguous.
But altogether lovely and calming.

points of interest
This round and bushy floribunda shrub rose blooms continuously throughout the season with clusters of peachy-pink, ruffled blooms. Stems are prickly and shiny green leaves are arranged in leaflets. The fragrance is light apple, and this is the sister seedling to the deep yellow ‘Sparkle & Shine’, which it pairs with nicely in the garden. Great for borders and along walkways.
general care
Locate in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Fertilize monthly with rose specific products. Aside from deadheading, prune in late winter or early spring by cutting back main stems to 10-18” above the ground and reducing side shoots to 2-3 buds. Mulch crown in colder climates.
