As I wandered the gardens…
At Wildseed Farms, the wind was blowing. The flowers and leaves were rustling, but I heard something more. Though very soft in the distance, it felt as if I heard a choir singing. As I got closer, I thought I heard the lovely sounds of an aria. Let me know if you hear it too…

Vigorous climber by way of tendrils and adhesive disks. Leaves are opposite, composed of two oblong leaflets with wavy margins. Flowers are trumpet-shaped, red-brown outside and yellow-orange on the inside, appearing in clusters of 2-5 in late spring. Fragrant. Train over wall, fence or pergola. Attracts hummingbirds.
general care
Grow in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in full-part sun. Prune if desired to manage, keeping in mind that blooms occur on previous year’s growth. Provide support.
