MY TWO CENTS
There is something incredibly nostalgic and significant about the annual cascade of autumn leaves … This is a beautiful visual use of words by Joe Wheeler. Autumn creates another sense of awe as we live through each season. I hope you can find ways to immerse yourself in its splendor.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
As I research each author for Monday’s Flower quote, I am often surprised by what I learn or a connection I have unknowingly had. Joe Wheeler was someone who drew me in many years ago when I came across his compilations of ‘Christmas in My Heart’. I have both loved reading and giving his books.

Joe L. Wheeler, Ph.D., is the compiler/editor of the popular Christmas in My Heart books. He relishes his role in finding, preserving, and sharing classic stories with today’s families. He has also served as editor-compiler of the Great Stories Remembered, Heart to Heart, and Forged in the Fire collections. Dr. Wheeler is also the author of Remote Controlled and View at Your Own Risk.

Dr. Wheeler edits story collections for Review and Herald, Tyndale House, Focus on the Family, Guideposts, Harvest House, Honor Books, WaterBrook/Random House and Doubleday/Random House, and is considered to be one of America’s leading anthologizers of Judeo-Christian stories.

Dr. Wheeler is professor emeritus of English at Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland; senior fellow for cultural studies at the Center for the New West in Denver, Colorado; and founder and executive director of Zane Grey’s West Society. He and his wife, Connie, reside in Conifer, Colorado [1].
