FLOWER QUOTE: A GARDEN TO WALK IN Mar 27, 2017
Garden Walk | Monday's Flower Quote

MY TWO CENTS
A garden to walk in…Truly what more could one want than a few flowers at our feet and the stars above us. After learning more about Victor Hugo, I can picture him walking in his own gardens and coming up with this simple, yet profound quote.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Victor Hugo (1802-1885) was a novelist, poet and dramatist of the Romantic movement. A few of his most famous works include: Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. In France, he was best known for being involved in social campaigns. After being exiled from France he and his family settled in Guernsey and they had a beautiful home and gardens, which are now a local attraction for the area. I even feel a little kindred spirit with him now that I have learned of his gardens, and maybe someday I will even be so fortunate to visit them (added to the bucket list).
