FLOWER QUOTE: IF WE COULD SEE THE MIRACLE May 22, 2017
Flower Quote Miracle

MY TWO CENTS
If we could see the miracle of a single flower… I think this quote for me encapsulates all that I’m trying to create with Floating Petals: sharing the miracle of each flower and having them transform us; giving each of us moments of beauty and connection to nature and each other; creating a community for us. I know it has changed my life, and I will also say it continues to be a journey for me to truly see and learn the miracle of each flower and to apply it to my daily life. I hope you will join me on this journey.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Buddha (c. 563 BCE/480 BCE – c. 483 BCE/400 BCE) whose full name was Gautama Buddha, was born in a life of luxury. He married and had a son, and not until the age of 29 had he ever been outside of the palace. Once he did leave the palace, he learned that common for all mankind was suffering. From that experience, he left his family and the life of luxury he was born into to achieve enlightenment. He traveled as a beggar and settled in the town of Uruvela where he first practiced extreme deprivation and starved himself. He realized the extremes he was practicing was not the answer, and he created ‘The Middle Way’ a life of moderation along with ‘Four Noble Truths’ … for me a fascinating history to learn about. Read more in-depth history.
