FLOWER QUOTE: IN THE SPRING TIME May 29, 2017
Spring Time Flower Quote

MY TWO CENTS
In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt… and that is exactly how I hope to spend some of my spring and summer days in the garden. I love how gardening and getting my hands in the dirt takes me out of my everyday and brings me closer to nature. I will also say that I’m so thankful for a really good shower at the end of the day to wash all that dirt away.

Do you like to spend time in the dirt or do you do everything you can to avoid it? Comment below.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Margaret Atwood (born November 18, 1939) is a well known name in the book and poetry arena with novels such as The Blind Assassin, The Year of the Flood, and her most recent release this May, Hag Seed. She also writes short stories like Stone Mattress, Nine Wicked Tales and poetry. I found this great comment that she is “an incisive chronicler of our darkest impulses” though admittedly that might make me a little apprehensive to read her books. I’m assuming, though, from her quote that she and I have the same love for gardening.
