Mother’s Day is a day to say thank you and to be appreciative of everything our moms do for us. It gives me a chance to let my mom know how much I appreciate her, her constant belief in me, her encouragement, how she listens to me blabber on, and how she’s always there for me. I so admire my mom, as she is a woman who is beautiful both inside and out.
As much as Mother’s Day is about celebrating my mom, I also want to celebrate the many other women in my life. As per Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, “maternal tenderness and affection” is the definition of ‘Mother’, which encompasses the many women I know. And though those many women are not my ‘mom,’ they are an important part of who I am. They have helped shape me into the person I am today, and I just want to take a moment to say ‘thank you’.
I think the gesture of appreciating the women in my life isn’t necessarily grand as I think it’s more about expressing it. So, as a small token of my gratitude for the woman you are, I have created a special flower wallpaper for your desktop. To virtually share a beautiful flower with you, one you can download for your desktop wallpaper to be reminded of how you are appreciated for being the nurturing, caring person you are. And if you would like to take a moment to thank your mom or one of the many special women in your life, please share this flower download with them.
Here’s to celebrating my wonderful and amazing mom, and to the many other fabulous women that I have been so graced to know and how each of them has had such a positive influence in my life. I know I would not be the same person without any single one of you.
Share with me below who you celebrated on Mother’s Day and how they’ve helped to shape you be the person you are today.

This mother’s day I’ll be celebrating my mom, Jas. She’s one of the strongest women I know, battling not one, but two challenging illnesses, and she always manages to stay positive and keep moving forward. She’s shaped so much of who I am today am I’m grateful to call her “mom”.
So sorry to hear you mom is dealing with two challenging illnesses. Sounds like though she is an amazing mom and woman. I can only imagine how proud she is of you.
