MY TWO CENTS
Butterflies are self propelled flowers… A quote so befitting of this Iris: Flight of Butterflies. It’s a quote that makes me smile and brings a moment of joy and peace to my day.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
It is always so fascinating to learn about each author of Monday’s Flower Quotes as each time I find it creates for me more meaning with quote; this one is just another example of that. Robert A. Heinlein (July 7, 1907-May 8, 1988) was a well-known and best-selling science-fiction author. He wrote 32 books and 59 short stories. A few of his books were Starship Troopers, Stranger in a Strange Land, The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, Time Enough for Love, and The Door into Summer. I feel his quote is most befitting of a science-fiction writer as he most likely could imagine things that maybe the rest of us could not.
