MY TWO CENTS
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away… As I mentioned in my blooming blog, where does the time go? It goes too fast, but this quote reminds me that as quick as it goes, I have a choice. I can choose between life moving too fast or slowing down to notice the amazing world and people around me. And then I will find those moments that will take my breath away, and what better way to live my life. How many breathless moments do you want to have in your life?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Maya Angelou (April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014) was an American poet, civil rights activist, singer, writer and memoirist. That is only a partial list of her many accomplishments. I will not be able to expound upon Maya Angelou enough to give her the credit and admiration she deserves. She was a very accomplished author who profoundly touched many people, and still does to this day. From my perspective, I saw her as a very delightful, calm and thoughtful person. I feel this is very was evident in her poetry, writing and how she touched and changed people.
