FLOWER QUOTE: NATURE IS PAINTING Nov 26, 2018
Nature Is Painting For Us | John Ruskin

MY TWO CENTS
Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty… As is the view from my hotel window this morning of the snow that fell through the night in Chicago; a beautiful blanket of winter covering the ground and resting ever so softly on the trees. Nature’s beauty is always there for us to see – we just have to stop and take the time to look and to be inspired by it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
John Ruskin (February 8, 1819 – January 20, 1900) was involved in many areas of the arts. He was a draughtsman, watercolorist, philanthropist, art patron and writer, but he was most known as being an English art critic of the Victorian Era.

Ruskin’s writing technique and artistic style were both varied in subject. He penned essays and treatises, poetry and lectures, travel guides and manuals, letters and even a fairy tale. He also made detailed sketches and paintings of rocks, plants, birds, landscapes, and architectural structures and ornamentation.[1]
