A TIME OF GRATITUDE Nov 12, 2017
A Time Of Gratitude

As much as I don’t enjoy the lack of sunlight and the end of Daylight Savings this time of year, it does lead us into the holidays and gives us a chance to be grateful and to show our gratitude to others.

Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.

Thanksgiving is the best prelude to the rest of the holidays as it hopefully gives us each time to reflect on all that we have to be grateful for. I know I’m ever so thankful for my husband and family, along with my health, having a roof over my head and so much more that I’m blessed to have.

I’m also grateful for the many, many non-profit companies that, on a daily basis, are taking care of others and doing more than I will ever accomplish in my lifetime. Below are a few of the non-profits that I want to give recognition to for all that they do, and how grateful I am for the difference they are making in this world.

American Cancer Society

Dedicated to helping people who face cancer. Learn about cancer research, patient services, early detection, treatment and education at cancer.org.

Food for the Hungry

Putting an end to extreme poverty for the world’s most vulnerable people, together.

New York Botanical Garden

For giving all of us a place to be, to learn and to experience the beauty and joy of nature.

BOMA

The BOMA Project works to improve the lives of the marginalized residents of northern Kenya through economic empowerment, education, advocacy and the training of a new generation of entrepreneurial ethical leaders.

Share with me below: What non-profit you are most grateful for? Let’s all take the time to support them in some way.
