MY TWO CENTS
Can we speak in flowers. It’ll be easier for me to understand… I love this quote, as I do feel this joy and understanding when I get to speak to anyone who knows flowers or just loves them as much as I do. One person I know who has an immense knowledge and love of flowers is Anna of Anna’s Blooms. When I get a chance to talk with Anna about her blooms, I become all the more energized about the world of petals as her knowledge and love of them are contagious. Anna writes the flower facts each week for Wednesday’s Flower, and she and her beautiful bouquets will be featured in this Sunday’s upcoming ‘My Blooming Blog’.

Nayyirah Waheed is a poet. She has chosen not share her life online and little is known about her background and childhood, otherwise. Even Wikipedia doesn’t have her birthdate. Interestingly enough, she may be the most famous poet on Instagram with currently more than 477,000 followers. Waheed’s poetry does not follow the traditional rules of poetry, but those who appreciate her work like her cadence: use of full stops and two to three lined poems.
