Flowers inspire me, not only with their inherent beauty, but with all that they have to teach me with their strength, wisdom, joy, and grace. They inspire me by how intricate they are, yet what simplicity and joy they bring to a moment, to life. Each one has a certain vulnerability that I admire, too; a willingness to share something almost personal. Every bloom bears all from being so delicate, and yet so strong and resilient. I appreciate each flower’s openness and its willingness to share its story; a story of being bold, yet quiet, elegant, yet playful. They possess such qualities that I could only hope to acquire.
It’s mind boggling to me that there are over 400,000 blooms on this earth. Such a multitude of flowers is beyond my comprehension.
It’s mind boggling to me that there are over 400,000 blooms on this earth. Such a multitude of flowers is beyond my comprehension. I’m thrilled that there is an endless road of discovering and learning something new each week; to see how different and intriguing each bloom is. Every week as I prepare each Wednesday’s Flower post, I’m surprised as I discover a new flower’s uniqueness, and the story it has to tell and the lessons it has to teach.
We offer a weekly newsletter to bring moments of beauty into the every day. It includes: My Blooming Blog, Monday’s Quote, Wednesday’s Flower and more. Wednesday’s Flower is the heart of our offering. Each week I share a new bloom from around the world, flower facts, and points of interest. Also, there is a free image download, along with varying perspectives of each bloom on the cutting room floor. So, sign up now for our free weekly newsletter. Let it bring you moments of beauty and peace into your week.
Flowers have inspired me on this journey to photograph, write, and share their beauty and power. I hope you will join me on this journey.
